It was a good day

I know I've had a good day when I glance over at my green bin full of trimmings and my fridge is looking skimpy.
I never know what kind of day it's going to be. Just when I pulled out all of my crafting materials to make cards for the afternoon, I had three guys, one after the other, come in and order hand tied bouquets for the women in their lives. I feel like Juliette Binoche in Chocolat. She gets to spread love around with her delicious confections. I'm such a blessed girl! I love that I get to do this everyday. Tomorrow morning I'm off to my supplier for fresh flowers. I'll let you know what comes in. I'll be buying extra because a lovely woman in the neighborhood is getting married and she asked me to do her flowers. I'm really excited about this.

After searching and searching for local florists whose style speaks to me, I finally had to broaden my search (local for me is Buffalo) - and I am glad I did! We visit Toronto quite often, and I've come to rely on Blog TO for just about everything. So I turned to the site to look up florists in Toronto, and came across an article about your shop, and then found your blog. Now I'm starting from the beginning and can't wait to work my way up through to the present. My flower shop research stems from a dream of opening a shop here in Buffalo that combines my love of flowers and old, vintage, and antique home goods - a dream I have recently decided to make a "five year plan." So it was very inspiring to find you here - someone who has made my dream a reality! I will most definitely have to pay your shop a visit the next time we head up your way.

In the meantime I will be spending the next few hours devouring your blog. Congratulations on your shop!
